Mynetsearch was to eventually be made into a pay-per-click search engine, not unlike overture.com. However, our programmer at the time was busy on other things and made it very clear it would take a significant amount of time to put the backend together. So, we created the frontend and intergrated the results with pageseeker.com, which gave us 50% of all clicked profits.
I was the team leader for this project, and had 2 other web designers working with me full time. If you click here you can see our first design for the mynetsearch site. That was soon dropped for the new design, conceptualized by one of the webdesigners and cut up and put into html by myself. You can see it by either clicking local version link below or clicking here.
About 40 individual search engine sites were created to facilitate the mynetsearch program, as well as google spidering techniques, exit consols, popup advertising and email advertising. The site is still up and running, however it was never made into a pay-per-click program.
